By installing or using ElementHider ("the extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension.
ElementHider is developed by Valtteri Hietala (Finland). Contact: valtteri.t.hietala@gmail.com
ElementHider runs entirely within your browser. It hides or blurs page elements matching your keyword and CSS selector rules. All your rules and settings are stored locally in your browser. We do not collect or transmit your keywords or browsing data.
Additional features (highlight mode, replace mode, regex keywords, groups) are available as part of the Supporter Pack, unlocked by making a Ko-fi contribution and verifying your email. The Supporter Pack is a thank-you to supporters — it is not a subscription and carries no contractual obligations.
Ko-fi contributions are processed by Ko-fi and are subject to Ko-fi's own Terms of Service. We cannot issue refunds for Ko-fi donations.
You may use ElementHider for personal, lawful purposes — filtering content you find unwanted, avoiding spoilers, reducing distractions, or any similar use.
You may not use ElementHider to:
• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Circumvent access controls or security measures on websites
• Interfere with the operation of websites in a way that causes harm to others
• Misrepresent your supporter status or attempt to bypass verification
ElementHider is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the extension will work on every website, browser version, or operating system, or that it will be free from bugs or interruptions.
Website structure changes frequently; rules that work today may need updating as websites update their layouts.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valtteri Hietala shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use ElementHider.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the extension or Supporter Pack at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through the extension's store listing or update notes.
Continued use of the extension after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland and the European Union. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts.
